Can I use my own OpenAI API key in Tana?

AI features in Tana are exclusive to the paid plan: Tana Core

If you have Tana Core, you can use the 5000 AI credits that are part of the plan, along with your own Open AI API key restricted to the Ask AI and Generic AI Query command nodes. AI Chat and Meeting agent will always use the Tana AI credits.

Commands that can be used with your own OpenAI key

Ask AI: Extensive command, provides result in one batch

Generic AI query: Simpler command, provides streaming results

When setting up the commands, set the parameter "use your own AI key" and it will utilize the saved OpenAI API key in Settings

To set your OpenAI API key, go to Settings > API keys > OpenAI
