Highlights

We are developing an AI-driven platform designed to enhance productivity, information management, and collaboration for individuals and teams. As a Native Mobile Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and optimizing our mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience. Your expertise in mobile app architecture, performance optimization, and integration of third-party APIs will be essential in delivering a high-quality product. By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact our product’s development and success while working in a remote-first environment within CET +/- 3 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Tana’s native mobile application for Android (and iOS if you know both platforms).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance user experience and productivity.
  • Implement mobile UI/UX designs that are intuitive, visually appealing, and adhere to best practices for mobile interfaces.
  • Optimize mobile applications for performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions.
  • Debug and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the performance, stability, and reliability of our mobile applications.

Required skills

  • You are a seasoned, native Android Kotlin developer
  • You are enthusiastic about crafting seamless, high-performance mobile experiences that delight users.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • You have broad experience with mobile app performance optimization techniques and tools.
  • Bonus if you also have experience with:
  • Game development or gamification elements, bringing creative, interactive solutions to mobile apps.
  • iOS development using Swift.
