New"Hey Tana" listens and just does it. Saying "Hey Tana" used to bring Tana into the call: a voice session opened, you were answered out loud, and the meeting waited. Now the request is heard and carried out with nothing spoken back, so you can ask in the middle of someone else's sentence and the conversation never breaks. To actually talk, ask for it: "Hey Tana, let's talk".
NewCalendar: your meetings by day, week or month. Your meetings laid out over time. A meeting that has already happened is not just an entry in the week, it carries what came out of it, so clicking last Tuesday gives you the summary, the outcomes, the proposals still to review and what was pinned. Meetings ahead of you open ready to edit, and you can drag across the calendar to draft one.
NewHome replaces Today. Tana now opens on Home. Rather than a list of everything, it leads with what is coming up next and the one action that meeting needs, then what recent meetings produced, your tasks, today's pins, and the documents you have been in lately.
NewWork replaces Activity. Activity told you what had happened. Work tells you what is still on you: chats still going, your tasks, your agents, MCP chats, and your notifications. Notifications live here now, so the Work row carries the unread count and you can stop hunting for the thing you owe someone.
NewSpace home page. A space now opens on a page instead of a list, so a shared space has a front door: what is coming up and what has happened in it, the types it defines, what is pinned, its chats, and what was edited recently.
NewActions: file issues and send messages from Tana. Ask the AI to file a Linear issue, send a Slack message or update a record, and it drafts an action for you to approve. Approve it and Tana does it. An action drafted from a meeting takes that meeting's transcript and screenshots with it, so the issue arrives with the evidence attached and the work leaves the meeting finished rather than as a note for someone to write up later.
NewOption fields on your types. Give a type a field with a fixed set of values, single or multi select, for things like severity or priority. Because the values are defined once, a field cannot end up spelled three ways, and filtering a type's entries by it actually works. The AI can set them and search by them. Retiring a value leaves the documents already carrying it alone.
NewCapture window for meetings outside Tana. On the desktop app, capturing a meeting held outside Tana now opens a window beside your call with the meeting assistant in it. That means you can act during the meeting, creating an action or capturing an outcome, instead of coming back to it afterwards. Shrink it to a single row when it is in the way.
NewVideo recording for meetings. "Record meeting", under More actions in the meeting toolbar, captures video alongside the transcript, so a demo or a walkthrough is watchable afterwards rather than only readable. Everyone in the meeting sees that recording is running, and the recording plays back on the meeting itself.
ImprovedRead-only calendar connections. Connecting a calendar now gives Tana read access only, so your day shows up without handing over the ability to change anything. "Enable edits" grants writing when you want it. Until then anything that would write to your calendar says so rather than failing quietly.
ImprovedAuto-filter button in search. What you type is searched as written, so a plain keyword search stays one instead of being reinterpreted. "Auto-filter" turns your sentence into filters when you want that, and turns them off again. Under the direct matches, "Related" lists documents about the same thing in different words.
ImprovedGroup, sort and display options in search. Group results by type, status, assignee or one of a type's own fields, sort by title, created, last changed or a meeting's start time, and pick which details each row shows. A saved search reopens exactly the way you left it, so a view you set up once stays set up.
ImprovedScreen share captures in one gallery. Everything captured from a screen share sits together instead of scattered through the meeting. Open one in place and step through the rest with the arrow keys, download or copy any of them, or clear the whole set at once.
ImprovedJoin another organization's meeting as yourself. Follow a link to a meeting hosted by another organization, while signed in to your own, and you join as you. The host sees your name and home organization rather than an unknown guest.
ImprovedAI reply language. Chat replies come back in the language you write in, and switch with you part-way through. Set a fallback under Settings, Preferences for messages that do not settle it. A meeting can set its own language for its summary and outcomes, so it reads the same way for everyone in it.
ImprovedAgent picker in AI chat. Choose which of your agents replies from the message box itself, so asking a specific agent no longer means starting somewhere else first.
ImprovedYour messages as bubbles in chat. Messages you sent are aligned to one side as bubbles, so you can see at a glance who said what.
FixedA spoken request is never cut short. Asking the voice agent for something could cut off part-way through your sentence, or vanish without a reply. It arrives whole and gets an answer.
FixedUpdate prompts no longer stall the app mid-meeting. On macOS, the prompt to restart for an update could freeze the desktop app until you answered it, even mid-call. It now waits until you are between meetings.
FixedAn empty search result reads as an answer. A search with nothing to show reported a failure. It tells you there are no matches.
FixedThe app recovers when part of it fails to load. Opening part of Tana could leave it stuck when a piece of the app failed to arrive, and trying again failed the same way every time. Tana now reloads itself and carries on. It stays put while a call or capture is running, so recovering one stuck part never interrupts a meeting.
FixedA guest's window stays put during a meeting. It could reload itself in the middle of a meeting, dropping you out of what you were watching.
FixedA cancelled meeting stays cancelled. A meeting created in Tana and then cancelled in your calendar could reappear in Tana afterwards.
FixedA meeting's details open where you clicked. A meeting opened from a card or the calendar could appear in the wrong place, or off the edge of the screen. Clicking away to dismiss one no longer leaves a half-drafted meeting behind it.
FixedLong titles stay readable in table views. Long titles in a list or search result could become unreadable in a table layout.
FixedA button with a menu beside it reads as one control. A button with a main action and a menu next to it could render as two separate buttons.
FixedA long link value stays inside its card. A long value in a link field could spill outside the card it belongs to while you were reading a document.
FixedAn all-day entry stops interrupting you as a meeting. A calendar entry spanning whole days could raise a meeting reminder on the capture window as though it were about to start. Only real meetings do that now.
