NewLet the AI schedule calendar events. The AI can now propose creating calendar events. It needs a title and a start time, and can also set an end time, time zone, location, description, and participants. Adding participants restricts the event to that list. It still can't change the time, title, attendees, or meeting link of an event that already exists.
NewChat with everyone in guest meetings. Guests can use Chat with everyone to send and read messages in the meeting, alongside your team. To keep your organization's data private, the AI is turned off in the shared chat whenever a guest is present, with a note explaining the pause. Your own private meeting agent is unaffected.
NewCapture or copy a single part of the meeting. Every row in the live meeting digest gets a hover menu. Capture as turns just that part of the conversation into a note, a task, a typed item, or an artifact. Copy transcript segment copies the same stretch as text, grouped by speaker.
NewDiagrams render in AI chat replies. When the AI includes a diagram in a chat reply, it renders inline once it's complete instead of flashing raw markup while it streams. A malformed diagram shows a short notice, and the AI corrects it on its next turn.
ImprovedCapture anything from a meeting. The middle control in the meeting toolbar is now a blue Capture button. Pick how far back to look, then capture that stretch of the meeting as a note, a task, a typed item, or an artifact like a screen-share recap. A quieter New button beside it creates a blank Doc, Canvas, or Task.
ImprovedMeet now or Meet later from Today. The Meet button in Today splits in two. Meet now starts a meeting straight away and opens a "Who are you meeting with?" popover, where you can copy a guest link, add colleagues in one click, share your screen solo, or start a voice chat with an agent. Meet later opens the scheduling popover for picking a time.
ImprovedChoose to open org links in the desktop app. Clicking a link to your organization's Tana in a browser, with the desktop app installed, now asks whether to open it in Tana: Open always, Open once, or Continue in browser. Your choice is remembered, and you can reset it from the web app under Settings, Preferences. Meeting links still open in the browser so guests can join a call.
ImprovedGet notified when a type is archived or restored. A new notification tells you when someone in your organization archives or restores a type, with the type's title and a link to its panel.
ImprovedFilter any Library section by creator and visibility. Every Library section page, including Spaces, Chats, Agents, Skills, Canvases, and Docs, now has the Created by and Visibility filter pills, saved in the URL so the view is bookmarkable. Chats also gets an MCP filter that narrows to chats started from an MCP client, shown only when there are any.
ImprovedThe Skills section shows your own skills. The Library Skills section and search list the skills you and your team have created. Tana's built-in system skills are filtered out of the preview and the See-all page so your own work is easy to find.
ImprovedToggle the sidebar with a keyboard shortcut. In the desktop app, Cmd+S on macOS or Ctrl+S on Windows and Linux toggles the sidebar, also under View, Toggle Sidebar. It works on iPad with a hardware keyboard too. In a browser the shortcut stays as Save page.
ImprovedA date chip on an event's location pill. An event's location pill now shows a date chip next to the owner, reading Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday, or a short date like Mar 2. Clicking it jumps to that day on the calendar.
ImprovedSee which calendars Tana can't edit. Calendar settings now flag any connected account that's missing write permission with a Read-only row and an Enable edits action that runs the reconnect flow. Per-calendar edit toggles stay dimmed until you grant access.
ImprovedMove a meeting to Tana straight from Today. You can move an external meeting to Tana directly from the Today calendar list, not just from the event itself. Both open the same confirmation dialog showing the switch from your provider to Tana.
ImprovedA clearer minimized call overlay. When you minimize a call, the overlay shows up to four participant tiles, prioritizing whoever is speaking, anyone with a raised hand, and the presenter, with a "+N" count when there are more. Screen shares and camera-off avatars are handled cleanly.
ImprovedJump to the meeting chat from a notification. Chat notifications during a call are clickable. Clicking one opens Chat with everyone anchored to the chat button.
ImprovedRecurring meetings show once in Recents. Activity, Recents now collapses a recurring meeting series into a single row showing the occurrence closest to now, keeping its place in the list.
ImprovedOpen a task in a peek. Clicking a task's title in the Tasks view opens it in a popover over the list, so you can read or edit it without leaving your tasks.
ImprovedLonger task titles wrap instead of clipping. Task titles in the Tasks view wrap to up to three lines, so a long title stays readable instead of being cut off at one.
FixedNo more reloads in the middle of a call. When an app update arrives while you're joining a call, the app no longer reloads mid-call.
FixedScreen shares no longer freeze after you navigate away. A remote screen share no longer freezes for viewers after you navigate away and come back, or after the desktop app loses and regains focus.
FixedA clearer message when Tana can't connect. When Tana can't reach its servers, the loading screen now reads "Connection problem" with guidance to check your VPN or network, instead of hanging without explanation.
FixedNo more stuck spinner after signing out. After signing out, Tana could land on a loading spinner instead of the sign-in screen, leaving you unable to sign back in without reloading. It now returns you to the sign-in screen every time.
FixedFind events you organized in Created by. Calendar events are now attributed to their organizer, so filtering by Created by finds the meetings you set up.
