Invite anyone to your meetings

  • NewInvite anyone to a meeting, by email. You can now invite anyone to a Tana meeting and they get a real calendar invite in their inbox. Add people by name, or type any email address to invite someone outside your organization. Because your meeting's attendees sync out to your connected calendar, everyone you add is invited by email, so you can create the meeting in Tana, add anyone, and they're invited. Only the meeting's organizer can change the invite list.
  • ImprovedSet up your workspace in one step. The first onboarding step is now Set up your workspace, with the workspace name, an optional company website, and a Working language picker in one place. The Working language is the language Tana writes summaries and outcomes in; you can still speak any language in meetings. Signing up with a corporate email pre-fills the name and website from the domain, so you@acme.com starts with Acme and acme.com already filled in; personal email providers like gmail start blank.
  • ImprovedConnected calendars show the account email. Each row in Settings, Calendars now shows the connected account's email under the provider name, so if you have more than one Google or Microsoft account it is clear which one is linked.
  • ImprovedBetter echo cancellation on laptop speakers. Meetings held on a laptop's built-in speakers pick up less echo of other participants' voices.
  • ImprovedPrivate calendar events stay private. A calendar event you've marked Private in Google Calendar, or Private or Confidential in Outlook, never enters Tana. Its title, description, and attendee list are not stored, and it does not appear for you or for anyone else subscribed to your calendar. To bring a private event into Tana, change its visibility to normal in the provider first.
  • FixedMeeting wrap-up recovers from a dropped connection. When your device briefly lost its connection during post-call wrap-up, the meeting could be left stuck on Generating summary without ever completing. Wrap-up now recovers from that: the meeting finishes on its own once the connection is back, or the Wrap up button becomes available so you can retry.
