Open question

The questions you didn't answer yet

An open question captures a question that was raised during a meeting but left unresolved when the meeting ended. Unlike a decision (which records a settled conclusion) or an action item (which assigns a concrete task to a person), an open question represents an unknown that still needs an answer before work can proceed. It is the parking lot for uncertainty, so nothing important is silently dropped between meetings.
