Takes a feature request, complaint, or "can you add X" ask and separates the literal solution the user proposed from the underlying job they are trying to get done. It reconstructs the situation, motivation, and desired outcome behind the ask, then reframes it as a jobs-to-be-done statement that a product or research team can act on without being anchored to the requester's proposed solution.
