Does a bot join my calls?
No. Tana runs on your computer and captures the call locally. Nothing appears in the participant list on Zoom, Teams or Google Meet, and no bot joins on your behalf.
Which agents can I bring?
Your own Claude or ChatGPT, and Claude Code, which reads the same context through MCP. Lovable joins too, and builds the app you’re discussing. Gemini and Grok are coming soon. Everyone brings their own, so one person on Claude and another on ChatGPT can sit in the same meeting, each with their own agent.
Is my meeting data used to train AI?
No. Your data is never used to train AI models, unless you consent to it. Tana has completed its SOC 2® Type 2 examination and is GDPR compliant. See the privacy page for how your data is handled.
Who can see my meetings?
The people who were in the room. A meeting is visible to its attendees unless someone shares it further, and spaces give you granular control on top of that. What your agent makes stays with you until you share it.
Is Tana a notetaker?
It takes notes, but that is not the point. A notetaker writes a summary after the call. Tana works during it: it answers the question someone just asked, files the bug while you are still discussing it, and drafts the follow-up before you hang up.
Which languages does it understand?
60+ languages, and you can speak as many of them as you like in one meeting.
